Serious Alaskan Fishing
Sitka is located in the middle of the pristine Tongass National Forest. A quaint shore side town protected by islands on the Pacific Ocean, Sitka was the Russian capitol of Alaska.

Tourism and adventure sports are a growing industry. The local area offers numerous parks, hiking trails, museums, and other wildlife experience opportunities.

The nearest city is Juneau, nearly 100 miles to the north. We have 16 miles of paved road, while thousands of miles of bays, fjords, and ocean surround us.

Sitka is the premier fishing area of the northwest. You will enjoy an "exclusive" Alaskan experience worth a lifetime of memories.

News Flash!
Hi, I'm Tim Schwartz and have fished in Sitka since 1992 and have seen the charter fleet grow out of control to over 500 boats . If you are tired of bumper boat fishing and fishing for halibut in over 400 feet of water totally exposed to the open ocean and dealing with rough water and long boat rides click below. I am relocating my business that is just 40 minutes by float plane west of Juneau and is located in a small fishing village called Elfin Cove. No need to rent a car because there are no roads, just a boardwalk village walk about real life Alaska Frontier community. Elfin Cove will keep it's charm and small village atmosphere forever. The fishing grounds are minutes away and still remain a rich resource for Salmon and Halibut alike. Unlike Sitka, calm water fishing is usually the norm because of it's location and you can catch halibut in 125 feet of usually "calm" waters. The scenery is absolutely out of this world beautiful. The 15000 peak Fairweather Mountain range along with glacier fields and Glacier Bay is a daily site that will never tire your eyes each day along with the bountiful sea life you will witness on many days while out fishing. If you have fished in Sitka and give Elfin Cove a try and Inner Harbor Lodge where I will be located, you will be hooked for life. Hope you give it a thought. I hope to share the dream of my lifetime with all of you. Come See. If you would like to talk more about this trip of a lifetime, please contact me directly at 218-391-FISH or email me directly.
